David Weber
David filed his first court report in 1985 while on work experience with 2 Double O radio in Wollongong. He first started working with the ABC in the Illawarra region in the early 1990s, after completing a degree with Wollongong University.
His varied experience included stints with SBS, Agence France Presse, newspapers and commercial radio. David has reported on major stories in Australia for all the ABC News & Current Affairs platforms, and has filed from overseas, including during the 2016 US election.
David won a United Nations Peace Prize in 2005, and a range of WA Media Awards and other industry accolades.
