Crime scene declared after body reportedly found in vehicle at Harbour Beach, Mackay

Police have declared a crime scene at a North Queensland beach after a body was reportedly found in a vehicle.

Emergency services were called to Harbour Beach in Mackay shortly after 1pm on Saturday.

Police have closed off the dirt road East Point Drive.

A police spokesman said there was not much information available to be released at this stage.

Officers are continuing to investigate.
