Samuel Seke or Sam Seke as he’s better known, is a Solomon Islander who has worked in the media industry for more than 37 years. Sam was a news editor for the Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation, assistant editor of the regional news service PACNEWS, a freelancer, Pacific Islands Culture and Language instructor at the Australian Defence Force School of Languages at Laverton, and producer/presenter for Radio Australia's Pacific Beat program.
In 2012, Sam was appointed Executive Producer of Radio Australia’s Tok Pisin service, which currently produces a 30-minute news and current affairs program called Wantok in PNG Tok Pisin, Solomon Islands Pijin, and Vanuatu Bislama languages.
