Joanna Woodburn
Joanna Woodburn is a Reporter with ABC News, based in Orange.
Joanna is originally from Scotland and grew up on an Angus cattle stud in the NSW central west.
During her career she has worked in radio, television, digital and print news in the UK and Australia.
Before joining the team in Orange, Joanna was based in the ABC's Sydney newsroom covering state, national and international news. She has also reported for radio current affairs and Landline.
During her time in the ABC's national newsroom she covered Royal Commissions, major court cases, NSW parliament as well as rural and regional stories, which she gravitated towards.
She has also worked as the acting Executive Producer of the NSW Country Hour and Rural Reports.
Joanna made the tree change with her family to enjoy the slightly slower pace of country life.
