He has been part of online coverage with the wider Grandstand team since 2019, previously holding a variety of roles within the ABC across radio, digital, and online since 2014 in Hobart, Melbourne, Mildura, and Ballarat.
Previously he worked in the organisation as a digital producer within the Regional, Local, Sports & Events team focusing on feature content in regional Australia. Before this, he was reporting for ABC Rural at ABC Mildura-Swan Hill, as a digital producer for ABC Regional, Asia-Pacific and ABC Emergency. Damien has also been a cross-media reporter and content maker for ABC Radio Hobart and 774 ABC Melbourne, and as a radio producer across the field and in studio.
