Amy Phillips is the presenter of the Queensland Country Hour.
Amy grew up on a property near Weengallon in southern Queensland where her parents remain on a grain and cattle property.
She arrived in the west to take up the position of Rural Reporter for ABC Western Queensland in July 2008.
Amy loves her job because of the communities she gets to represent. She reckons you couldn't ask to meet more hardworking and genuine people.
