Neil Cross
Neil Cross's journalism career started more than two decades ago with a cadetship at a Brisbane newspaper.
In 1987, he moved to Adelaide and in 1993 from print to television news, before returning to newspapers as a sports writer in 1997.
A year later, Neil joined the ABC in Adelaide as a news and current affairs journalist.
A keen sportsman since an early age, Neil's favourite sports include Australian Rules football, cricket, tennis, golf, rugby league, rugby union ... in fact, all sports!
Neil is married to Karen, also a journalist, and they have a son.
He presents sport and news on the ABC and commentates on the SANFL.
