Melissa Mackay
Melissa Mackay is the court reporter at ABC Darwin. She has been covering courts in the Northern Territory since 2018 and has reported on some of the NT's most high-profile cases, including the murder trials of former Constable Zachary Rolfe and Benjamin Hoffmann, as well as the coronial inquest into the death of Kumanjayi Walker and coroner's inquiry into domestic violence in the NT. Melissa has been nominated for numerous awards for her reporting and was a finalist in the 2023 Young Walkley awards.
Melissa also presents and produces the 7PM television bulletin. She has previously worked at 9 News Darwin and ABC Alice Springs.
