What does the Putin interview reveal about the Russia-Ukraine war?

The sit-down interview between America's right wing commentator Tucker Carlson and Russian president Vladimir Putin was highly anticipated. 

In the two-hour recording, the president said Russia had no interest in invading other countries and repeated other messages we've heard before.

It may have been a letdown for some viewers, but one expert said it gave a concerning glimpse into his long term goals for the war.
