The Northern Territory's largest banana farm supplied about 80 per cent of the bananas sold in the major supermarkets of Darwin, Katherine and Nhulunbuy last year.

This year, if all goes to plan, the farm will produce about 100 per cent of the Top End's banana needs.

ABC Rural visited the farm and caught up with manager Mark Smith.
