Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen allegedly attacked, suspect charged with assault

Los Angeles police were called to the Two and Half Men star's luxury Malibu home on Friday, regarding a battery and disturbance incident.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said suspect Electra Schrock was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and residential burglary.
"Upon contacting the parties involved, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as a victim of assault," the statement said.
Entertainment outlet TMZ said Ms Schrock, 47, is one of Sheen's neighbours.
TMZ reported that Ms Schrock is alleged to have forced her way into Sheen's home before ripping his shirt and trying to strangle him.
It said the actor was seen by paramedics but not taken to a hospital.
Sheen, the 58-year-old son of actor Martin Sheen, is notorious for his Hollywood scandals, including episodes of substance abuse and destructive violence.
He was the star of television sitcom Two and a Half Men, and starred in films such as Platoon, Wall Street, and Young Guns.
