Sydney Philharmonia's young adult choir, VOX perform Summer Together on Pier 3/4, Sydney.(ABC Classic)

After years of socially distant singing, this year the Classic Choir is all about singing together.

This year's song, Summer Together, with music by Elena Kats-Chernin and words by Gunai poet Kirli Saunders, captures the quintessential Australian summer: sharing a feed, being outdoors, and spending time with loved ones.

Watch Sydney Philharmonia's young adult choir, VOX, perform against the backdrop of Gadigal country's Sydney Harbour.

You can hear VOX, along with a 600-strong Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and full orchestra perform Summer Together live at the Sydney Opera House, 2pm Sunday 17 December.

See choirs and individuals around Australia perform from the Classic Choir Songbook in the Classic Choir performance gallery.
