Buy a t-shirt or donate now to support young people experiencing mental ill-health
Each year headspace helps thousands of young Australians access vital mental health support at community centres and online.
triple j is teaming up with headspace for this year’s Hottest 100, to help them provide more early intervention mental health services.
Join us by making a donation or buying this year’s Hottest 100 t-shirt, made from 100% recycled materials.
All proceeds will go towards expanding headspace’s Peer Support online community program; where young people with lived experience of mental ill-health support others going through similar experiences. The price of a tee equals one hour of peer support.
You can donate to headspace here.
What is headspace's Peer Support service?
68% of young people would be willing to seek support from someone who has been through a similar experience (headspace National Youth Mental Health Survey 2023). The headspace Peer Support service enables those with lived experience of mental ill-health to support others who might be going through similar challenges.
Sharing advice, stories and reflections between friends and other people your age can be a vital part of the recovery process and a way to maintain mental health plans and goals. It may be social, emotional, or practical, but most importantly this support is mutually offered and reciprocal.
