Description

Geography, Unit 1 (v8.4)

An overview of the nature of natural hazards (atmospheric, hydrological, and geomorphic) and ecological hazards (ACHGE012)

Geography, Unit 1 (v8.4)

The sustainable risk management policies, procedures and practices designed to reduce the impacts of the hazard through preparedness, mitigation, prevention and adaptation. (ACHGE021)

Geography, Year 8 (v8.4)

Causes, impacts and responses to a geomorphological hazard (ACHGK053)

Earth and Environmental Science, Unit 4 (v8.4)

Plate tectonic processes generate earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis; the occurrence of these events affects other Earth processes and interactions (for example, ash clouds influence global weather) (ACSES099)

Geography, Year 8 (v9.0)

Geomorphological processes that produce different landscapes and significant landforms (AC9HG8K01)

Science, Year 8 (v9.0)

Investigate tectonic activity including the formation of geological features at divergent, convergent and transform plate boundaries and describe the scientific evidence for the theory of plate tectonics (AC9S8U03)

Geography, Year 8 (v9.0)

The causes and impacts of a geomorphological hazard on people, places and environments, and the effects of responses (AC9HG8K05)
