Fire destroys Mobil petrol station on Hume Highway at Coolac, near Gundagai
/ By Monty JackaPolice are investigating an inferno which destroyed a Mobil petrol station off the Hume Highway in southern New South Wales overnight.

The blaze broke out at the Coolac business, about 20 kilometres north of Gundagai, just after 10pm on Tuesday.
Fifty firefighters from across the Riverina converged on the scene and were able to stop the fire from reaching the fuel bowsers.
There were no reports of any injuries.
Fire and Rescue NSW officer Stewart Alexander said it took crews about four hours to put the fire out.
"They were facing some challenges as it was a very intense fire," Superintendent Alexander said.
"There were reports of gas cylinders on fire as well as water supply issues."
Mr Alexander said firefighters threw significant resources at the incident, with about 23 trucks from urban and rural stations attending the scene.
A Rural Fire Service spokesperson said the building suffered significant damage.
They said some crews were still on the scene monitoring the wreckage on Wednesday.
NSW Police has established a crime scene and started an investigation into the incident.
